§ 72-34. Required connection to available public water supply system.

The owner of any house, building, structure, premises or property used for human occupancy,
employment, recreation or other purposes, situated within the City of Montrose and
abutting on any street, alley or right-of-way, in which there is located, a public
water supply system within 300 feet of the property line, or if said owner, as defined
herein, has a private water source that becomes dry, the owner is hereby required
at the owners expense, to install and connect directly to the public water supply
system, in accordance with the provisions of this aticle, when given official notice
to do so.
