§ 14-21. Permit required.

All home occupations require a valid permit. All class 1 home occupations shall require the valid approval of the zoning administrator and are registered with the city treasurer. All class 2 home occupation permits shall require the valid approval of the zoning administrator and the planning commission or its designee and all permits must be renewed on an annual basis. All of the conditions, listed in section 14-20 above, must be met before any permits can be issued and/or renewed. The permit fee for a class 2 home occupation permit is established by the city council by resolution. Failure to apply for a renewal of a home occupation permit will be deemed a voluntary forfeiture of the right to conduct a home occupation in the dwelling unit.
